JIBC - Fire Plan Examiner (FIRE-1250)

Learners augment the skills and knowledge gained in Fire Inspector I. Based on code requirements; they will conduct plan reviews, determine the adequacy of the plan, suggest modifications and recommend suggestions for approval. Learners will learn how to prepare and process related correspondence and report findings. Upon successsful completion of all three phases of the course, 5 days classroom instruction, 4 hour written exam, and or practicum, students will receive a joint NFPA/JIBC certificate bearing an accreditation seal. This course conforms to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1031 standard. (Formerly FIP150)
